We’re not only wine (although we do that exceptionally well)
From family outings to romantic weekends, we’ve got just what you need
Whatever the weather, there’s always something on in the Macedon Ranges Wine Region. Stretching from Daylesford in the west to Lancefield in the east, there’s a huge variety on offer. We have the Spa Centre of Australia, the Wombat Mountain Biking Trail, excellent art—and don’t forget the wine. This small region packs a lot of punch, and it’s only one hour from Melbourne.

We love our food. And you will too.
We may be biased, but the region offers some truly exquisite dining options. From the multi-award winning Lake House in Daylesford, to the newly hatted Kuzu in Woodend, there’s a huge variety of dining options.
Nature lovers over here please.
It doesn’t matter which corner of our region you spend time in—you’re guaranteed epic views. And if you’re looking to get out into nature and not just observe it, you won’t be disappointed. You’ll find an abundance of trails for walking, running or biking.
A home away from home.
The one thing you’re not going to find here in the Macedon Ranges are big, corporate hotels. But other than that, we’ve got most accommodation offerings covered.
