Pegeric vineyard was established in 1987 in one of Australia's coolest sites. The dry grown vines are close planted and virtually drought proof. They are hand pruned and fruit is hand harvested. An integrated pest management system is practiced so that minimal sprays are used. Consequently it is not unusual to see lizards and frogs in the vineyard and mushrooms regularly appearing in the permanent grass swards between vines.
